SVA COMPLETES 1ST STEP IN NE SEWN EXPANSION

The Steel Valley Authority’s expansion to 13 additional counties took a first serious step forward in December.  The SVA retained the services of two new staffers:

Marsha Fay was hired as the new SEWN NE Manufacturing Director.  She will be managing the new NE SEWN office, and will also oversee a new SEWN manufacturing turnaround consultant.  Marsha will be located at this new office, which is SVA’s third office location:

Mary Beth Enggren was hired in Harrisburg as the new SEWN Administrative Assistant.  She will be supporting the Central and NE Directors and the Advanced Manufacturing Director.  Mary Beth will be located in our Central SEWN office.

Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, this expansion will bring the SVA’s early warning and layoff aversion network to such notable communities as Scranton, Wilkes-Barre and the Lehigh Valley.
